There is a wireless printer in the mix, but currently only installed on one of these machines (which is experiencing this problem). I've tried running resource monitor at the same time as replicating the problem, and there appears to be no correlation to anything happening in resource monitor - there's still plenty of ram and cpu available. There are a couple of processes popping in and out of existence on the Network page of the resource monitor when trying to replicate the problem but they don't appear to be the cause. A computer that stops responding can be caused by many different problems. I've ran MSE and MBAM etc. It happens ALL the time. Its HORRIBLEY annoying. Similar help and support threads Thread: Forum: Programs Not Responding when i try and open files and then get the programs out and extract them the programs wont respond when i try and open them and i get appcrashes no idea. I've recently updated to windows 10, now 'windows live mail' keeps 'not responding' so I'm losing work, & emails before I can can send them? Also 'Word' 'keeps not responding' & I'm losing work before it's saved!?
